Every year during the first full week of June, NMA celebrates Management Week in America. In conjunction with this celebration the Florida Space Coast Council holds an Awards Banquet to recognize outstanding management personnel in both the aerospace and business communities.
As part of this recognition, the Council makes a presentation of “Outstanding FSCC Council Member of the Year”.
The FSCC COUNCIL MEMBER OF THE YEAR is oriented towards the actual council officers and delegates from each member chapter. This award is designed to recognize that individual who has contributed towards NMA at the council level.
CRITERIA
· Current Officer, Delegate, or Alternate Delegate.
· Made a significant contribution to the achievement of one or more of the FSCC Annual Goals and Objectives.
· Attended at least 50% of scheduled FSCC meetings in the past year
· Active participation at FSCC events such as joint meetings, workshops, committees, seminars and other volunteer activities.
· Conduct reflects NMA Code of Ethics for Management, and Statement of Principles.
· Activities must have occurred over the past twelve months.
If there is anyone you wish to nominate for this award, please write a nomination letter of 1,000 words or less, complete with your name, why you feel this person meets the criteria, and why they are most qualified to win the award. Submit your nomination to the FSCC AWARDS COMMITTEE by e-mail to mailto:melinda.m.hester@usa-spaceops.com. Nominations must be received no later that April 25, 2008.
