NMA GOLD KNIGHT OF MANAGEMENT

NMA Councils may present a Gold Knight of Leadership Award to an outstanding executive once a year.  A candidate should be an executive and Silver Knight Award recipient whose reputation for outstanding leadership is well known in the Council’s area.  All Candidates must meet the minimum qualifications established by the NMA Board of Directors and be approved by the Executive Board and then voted on by the FSCC delegates.

 The nominations will be reviewed and the award approved based on the following qualifications.

 Over the last twelve months, has the candidate:

  1. Supported an NMA organization or program?

  2. Shown outstanding leadership in business or industrial management?

  3. Become well known in the area served by the Council?

  4. Motivated other management people to practice the principles of NMA’s Code of Ethics?

  5. Urged others to contribute towards the achievement of NMA objectives?

  6. Participated in programs intended to promote the public understanding and acceptance of the management profession?

  7. Contributed to a better understanding of NMA?

  8. Been an outstanding influence for the preservation of our competitive enterprise system?

 In addition, the letter of qualification should address the following
