Every year during the first full week of June, NMA celebrates Management Week in America. In conjunction with this celebration the Florida Space Coast Council holds an Awards Banquet to recognize outstanding management personnel in both the aerospace and business communities.
As part of this recognition, the Council makes a presentation of “Outstanding NMA Member of the Year”.
The FSCC NMA MEMBER OF THE YEAR is oriented towards any NMA member that is a participant of the FSCC (a pool of over 1,200 members). This award is designed to recognize that individual who has provided outstanding contributions towards NMA at the council level.
CRITERIA
· Member must have demonstrated optimum individual effort to advance the purpose and image of NMA.
· Activities must have occurred over the past twelve months.
· Active participant in chapter/council events such as membership meetings, workshops, volunteer activities, professional development, committee support, seminars, etc.
If there is anyone you wish to nominate for this award, please write a nomination letter of 1,000 words or less, complete with your name, why you feel this person meets the criteria and why they are most qualified to win the award. Submit your nomination to the FSCC AWARDS COMMITTEE by e-mail mailto:melinda.m.hester@usa-spaceops.com. Nominations must be received no later that April 25, 2008.
